The 2026 ACM/SPEC International Conference on Performance Engineering (ICPE’26) has officially concluded. For this edition, Roberto Verdecchia (STLab) served as the General Co-Chair jointly with Catia Trubiani of the Gran Sasso Science Institute.
The conference’s scientific program was supported by 119 Program Committee members distributed across 6 distinct tracks. The committee was deliberately selected to ensure a balanced representation of expertise, gender, seniority, and geographical distribution.
The event featured keynote presentations delivered by three distinguished speakers:
- Leana Golubchik (University of Southern California, US)
- Didem Unat (Koç University, Turkey)
- Jeff Hammond (NVIDIA)
Additionally, the conference was notable for the participation of Bjarne Stroustrup, best known for the development of the C++ programming language, who also took part in the event’s proceedings.
We extend our appreciation to all the attendees, authors, organizing committee members, and student volunteers who contributed to the conference and the ongoing advancement of performance engineering research.
Further details regarding the program and conference proceedings remain available on the official website: https://icpe2026.spec.org/
On behalf of the STLab, we wish you continued success and optimal performance in all your future endeavors.
